Mawlid, also known as Eid-e-Milad an-Nabi, is an annual Islamic festival that celebrates the birth of the Prophet Muhammad. The festival is celebrated on the 12th day of Rabi' al-Awwal, the third month of the Islamic calendar. The date changes every year because the Islamic calendar is based on the lunar cycle
